- Pricing: How much to hire a photographer?
- Answer: Due to the nature of photography and the levels of service requested the pricing can become quite complex, therefore we don't post a fixed amount online, for an estimate for your particular needs please contact us through email or by telephone for a custom estimate tailored to your needs.
- We want usage rights to the images, does that cost extra?
- Answer: Unlike most other photography companies we do not normally charge extra for usage if we're doing a photoshoot for you, certain advertising & editorial photoshoots do not apply to this policy.
- How long to turn around photos and get them to us on CD?
- Answer: Normally allow for 3-5 days for processing plus shipping / delivery time, it may only take 4 hours to go through your images in photoshop, and an hour to burn the CDs, make nice CD labels, package and invoice the job, but this allows us to schedule other shoots and finish other jobs within a random, sometimes hectic schedules that we have. As good as any photographer is, the small LCD screen on our cameras and other unforseen circumstances, make for less than perfect images (in our opinion) all images should be gone through in photoshop to check and correct crop, sharpness, brightness and color etc. Most other photographers sure can turn your images around same day or next day, but you get a less than perfect image in many cases.
- Is there a faster service?
- Answer: depending on our schedule, we can turn images around faster than 3 days for a rush fee of $100, we can also instant turn images around in some cases, such as candids or award photos we can bring a laptop with us and burn images directly to CD. Of-course this leaves us no time to go through and edit or adjust our images, so you get raw images as is. We charge cost for overnight / next day delivery out of state via FEDEX for instance.
- Is there a contract we need to sign if we hire you?
- We normally do not make or require a contract with our clients, many of our new clients are referred to us, so we trust most all of our clients to pay us in a timely fashion after they recieve thier invoice. Net is normally 30 days. Invoices are usually included with the photo CDs
